Vyacheslav Nagovitcin

Head of the Republic of Buryatia – Head of  the Parliament of the Republic of Buryatia

V.V Nagovitcin was born on March 2nd, 1956 in Glazov Udmurt ASSR.
In 1978 he graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (now - Tomsk Polytechnic University) in "engineer -mechanic." In 1992 he received another higher education, graduating from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation "manager of the highest category."
After graduation V.V Nagovitcin worked at Tomsk instrument factory, first as an engineer, then secretary of the Komsomol committee and at last as a workshop chief.
In 1986 Vyacheslav was appointed as a chief engineer of the Tomsk Measuring instrumentation factory, and then - the general director of the factory.
From March 1998 to December 1999 he worked as Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of the Tomsk region's industrial and business support.
In December 1999, V.V Nagovitcin led government of Tomsk region, simultaneously replacing the post of  Deputy Chief of Administration (Governor) of the Tomsk region.
On July 10, 2007 Vyacheslav Nagovitcin - President – the Head of Parliament of the Republic of Buryatia.
On April 26, 2011 Vyacheslav Nagovitcin became Head of the Republic of Buryatia – the Head of Parliament of the Republic of Buryatia. People's Khural of Buryatia amended the Constitution of Buryatia, according to which the highest official of the Republic became the Head instead of the President.
May 12, 2012 People's Khural of the Republic of Buryatia newly bestowed Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn with powers of the Head of the Republic of Buryatia.
V.V Nagovitcin is chairman of the Interregional Association "Siberian Agreement", a member of the Government Commission on Regional Development, the State Commission on the socio-economic development of the Far East, the Republic of Buryatia, Trans-Baikal Territory and the Irkutsk region.
V.V Nagovitcin is married and has two sons, a daughter and three grandchildren.
