Iskander Aziziv

Born on May 29^th, 1956  in Moscow.

In 1978  graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Speciality – ‘International relations’. Sinologist.

1978-1982  – secretary at the Soviet Embassy in Singapore

В 1982-1985  –  attaché of the South-East Asia Department, USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moscow

1985 - 1989  –  Third Secretary at the USSR Embassy in Malaysia

1989 - 1992  –  Second, First Secretary at the Directorate of the Pacific ocean states and states of the South East Asia, USSR and Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moscow

1993 - 1997  –  First Secretary, Counsellor at the Russian Federation Embassy in Malaysia

1998 - 2001  –  Senior Counsellor, Head of the  Section, First Asia Department,  Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moscow

2001- 2006  –  Counsellor at the Russian Federation Embassy in the USA

2007- 2013  –  Deputy Director, First Department of Asia,  Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moscow

On September 23th, 2013  appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia.
