National parks and eco-tourism conference

The "National parks and eco-tourism"  conference will take place on August 25-27, 2014 in Ulan-Ude and the town of Gremyachinsk  in the  Republic of Buryatia.  This event is included in the program of the III International Forum "Baikal dialogue" as the scientific and expert community has shown great interest in the problems of the Baikal region. Moderators: Geography department, Moscow State University University;  Departments of Biology and Geography of the Buryat State University; the Geographical Institute "Jovan Tsviyich" of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts; the Sochava Institute of Geography; Baikal Institute of Nature Management SB RAS; Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal and «Metropol Express»." The conference committee is headed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPLB, Professor Mikhail Slipenchuk.
